Although January 2018 was Get Organized month, it’s never too late to bring order to your life.
As we approach the end of the year, I like to take stock of different aspects of my life. Organization seems to always sit high on my list of priorities. I wear multiple hats and juggle more than one project at a time. I have to make getting organized a priority. If not, my life can get out of control quickly. I’m not super-organized, but I try to be as much as I can. It’s definitely a skill I can continuously improve, especially since I’m committed to building a 6-11 while working a 9-5.
I chatted with a friend, Lynne Poulton, a Certified Professional Organizer, about what it takes to stay organized in life and business so that we remain productive, achieve our goals, and make our brilliant ideas blossom. If you have about 30 minutes, check out our video chat.
I absolutely loved my chat with Lynne and I hope you did too. I’m relieved to know that getting organized is more about getting it done and not necessarily perfection. That definitely takes some of the pressure off.
Visit Lynne’s website, www.wholly-organized.com for more resources and tips on organization. Lynne also shares her expertise on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
How are your organization skills? Do you need to improve your organization skills? What challenges do you face staying organized in life and business? Will you apply anything you learned about getting organized from my chat with Lynne? Please let me know and share your comments below, in the GoneGirlGo Network on Facebook, or on the GoneGirlGo Facebook page.
I like the video Zoe! Great information and it is nice peace to add to your blog….awesome!!
Not only did I share this on my page but got 30 minutes on the elliptical while listening!! Legs are shot, but brain on fire. Great advise and so timely for me as a stand at that threshhold between employee and entrepreneur. Speaking of, I also read some great thoughts from Entrepreneur mag today. I will switch from cell phone to computer so I can put these gems into action with planning, organizing and transitioning to my business. Really priceless info Zoe. These mental exercises to help others advance and just do better in life will not go unnoticed. Also won’t be forgotten by those of us who truly see the benefit. Grazie mille!
